We offer a range of services including: Young People Mentoring, Female and Male Freedom Programmes, Coffee Mornings, Literacy Courses, Parenting Courses, Recovery Toolkit for Women, Strength to Change Programme, 1-2-1 Counselling and Listening, Talent Match Coaches and Family Support.

RCT and M6 Theatre are working together in a four year           collaboration working in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton which aims to work with young people between the age of 11 to 16  offering support on a range of issues including;

  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Difficulties within education
  • Bullying
  • Socialising & making friends
  • Family and relationship issues
  • Issues around drugs & alcohol, crime and offending
  • Improving health & well-being

One of our target groups is to work with young people who are living in the care system.

We recruit, train and support mentors across the community who have the skills and commitment to work with vulnerable young people.

All our Mentors are DBS checked and closely monitored to ensure the needs of the young person are being met.

We aim to carefully match Mentors with young people in hope they will be able to forge a relationship and work jointly to achieving the young person’s goals.

If you are interested in volunteering please contact our coordinators on 01706 345111

We invite young people we work with into our weekly youth drop-in. Each week we offer a varied programme of activities aimed to promote independence, encourage socialising, promote well-being, these include;

Cooking, baking, quizzes, art & crafts, games, pool, table football, air hockey, giant Jenga, chess, and cards

We also have trips out during the school holidays and developmental sessions for example self- esteem building, anger management, mental health, alcohol & drugs.

There is also an opportunity to be involved in drama sessions held by M6 Theatre group including theatre workshops.
