Rochdale Borough Libraries

Libraries have always been about books and that is still true today but did you know we have a collection called “Books on Prescription” for children, young adults and adults, that can help you through those difficult times, from going to the dentist for the first time as a youngster to coping with depression, or a bereavement.

As well as books, all of our libraries offer free access to computers – with help on offer if you are unsure how to use them. there are knitting groups, walking groups, reading groups, writing groups and much more in our libraries, Rochdale Central Library even has refreshments on offer with Bean Cafe.

Library services are now on offer 24/7 as you can access the library catalogue online at home.
